Special features:
Neck joint : All Garageland guitars now employ a unique glue-less sliding dovetail joint at the body-neck coupling, secured by a single discrete machine bolt.
Hum canceling : When both pickups are on in the middle position, they naturally work together to cancel out 60 Hz hum. In the bridge/neck positions, a hidden dummy coil is automatically engaged by the pickup selector to deliver 100% hum canceling performance. An access pin hole between the two main controls allows adjustment via trim pot of the 3rd coil- it can be completely removed from the circuit for true single coil tone, or gradually engaged to find the perfect balance between hum-cancelling operation and the natural shimmering tone of the pickups. (about 30% engaged is usually sufficient to reduce single coil hum to a negligible level)
